- Commodore GIF screens can be used - I have two of them in my homepage. I
- used a program by Randy Weems called GIFVert, which takes Koala Pad/Painter
- pictures and converts them into GIF format. The nice thing about this
- program is that it retains the original Commodore pallette, so it looks
- pretty good in Netscape (even better than the original because of the pixel
- size at 640X400 VGA). If you wanted to convert it to ASCII art, I have a
- program that will convert any GIF to ASCII art, but the results vary from
- good to poor, depending on the picture (ie. number of colours, pixel
- placement, etc.)
